Avoid this store and the man! I got a flat tire as I have left the bike at home without using for 2 years but the bike was perfect fine. I went to this place to pump my bike. The man tried to pump for two seconds then told me that the inner tube was broken I have to change a new one which cost me 11 to fix. I went to a different place, my tire was perfectly pumped up and it was free.

The service is really really good, my bicycle was like new after the shop owner helped me fix it!! The charge is OK comparing to other bicycle shops in Cambridge (actually much cheaper than some shops near Lensfield Road).

Unprofessional, dishonest con man. i have never had anything but sub-optimal service. He will try every trick in the book to get money out of you and overcharge students regularly. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

I've been taking my bike here to be repaired for years as he is the best in town: fast, reliable, trustworthy and very reasonable prices. Have bought a couple of second-hand bikes over the years and they have always been good value compared with the ones you can get from the market.

I bought a Raleigh bike off this guy for 125. The breaks failed within a week. Two months later, the back wheel fell off in the middle of ongoing traffic, I fell over and narrowly missed oncoming traffic. I took it to him for repair, he charged me 70. I today asked him to purchase it back from me for a reasonable price. He offered, knowing I had no alternative because I'm leaving the area, a fiver. Do yourselves a favour. Don't be seduced by the quaint venue, and go to Halfords. People like this guy make a considerable living ripping off students.
