Thought my bike was on its last legs but after a really efficient, quick and reasonabley priced look-over from Jef, it's like a brand new bike!
I got a bike from here just over two years ago which I liked the service so continued to go back for bike repairs etc. Recently my bike frame got a crack and Jeff contacted Claud Butler and got me a new bike sorted which I am thankful for the time he spent sorting it for me definitely would buy another bike from here when I need one and definitely recommend to anyone.
A perfect local bicycle shop this is my favorite bicycle shop in Cambridge, and luckily for me, the closest to my house. I'm building up a bicycle from an old frame, so I'm learning many new things about bicycles and how they're built/repaired. The owner has been very helpful, and I've stopped by a few times with a part asking for help/the appropriate part. Everything is a reasonable price, he has a quick turn-around time for any work he does, and he always checks that the item he's selling me is the right fit. I bought my bike from Life on a Bike just over 2 years ago. I have always had fantastic service whenever I have had a problem with my bike. If I've had punctures it has always been sorted within my time scale, nothing is too much trouble for these guys. I'd highly recommend this place and wouldn't go anywhere else.
