Really nice hotel, it is nice, well kept with a great breakfast. The real stars of their hotel are the staff, who are always looking out for you and checking you are ok (they get 5 stars in my opinion!). A nice extra was a tour round Cambridge in a 1950's Bentley with the wonderful host and driver Elliott. If the venue itself was a bit more special this would be 5 stars. (I didn't get to try the spa but the reason was that it was booked out the next day by a lot of "regulars" which is surely a good sign)
Top hotel. Great, central location. The staff are so helpful. Elliot gave us a tour of Cambridge in one of the hotel's Bentleys. This was really good. Well worth paying the premium for staying here. We opted for breakfast as well, which was also good.

Our favorite hotel during our 2-week long honeymoon in England. Suuuuuuuuch a cute hotel with great service and helpful staff. Our suite had a private garden which was the sweetest little space. Everything is available at your fingertips with the tablet in the room. The bed is very comfortable and our room was very spacious. Among our loveliest memories of our honeymoon is enjoying champagne, compliments of the hotel manager, in our private garden. We cannot wait to go back
This very fussy hotel critic will be back whenever we're in Cambridge. High standard of hospitality on all counts. Christmas bonus: I don't generally eat mince pies, but the ones put out by Goneville for staying guests were one of the best I've ever had.
