Location was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Howevr the good things stopped there. It is not a spa and only next to a spa with vouchers. Also the spa is tiny absolutely tiny. The rooms were clean but squeaky everywhere as you could place a step without waking up your partner. The bed and mattress wasn't good either.
Christmas lunch. I invited my mother in law thinking it was an excellent restaurant. My turkey had only two - yes two - Brussels sprouts and no roasted potatoes. It didn't taste of anything. The lunch was less than memorable. Manager gave us a discount on the bill. Only the view on the terrace was good. Staff helpful but not enough to make it worthy.
Had a lovely night at The Varsity Hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable. The Six restaurant was fantastic with wonderful views over the city. I will definitely stay there again.
Fantastic. A great location in the middle of Cambridge. I had a great night's sleep and would recommend it to anybody nearby. The spar was amazing perfect for a romantic getaway. The stunning views from the rooftop bar were worth all my money. Apart from some of the food being a bit above the pricey it was all worth it. The fabulous hot tub was lovely. You could stay there all day and it's a great for looking at the views of Cambridge and so close for the amazing punts.
Beautiful roof top bar. Perfect on warm summer days. Modern and open. Lovely views over Cambridge. Central of the city placed right on the river. Highly recommend anyone visiting Cambridge to visit the roof top bar or the restaurant on the floor below it. A definite to go to place. One of my favourite places to visit in Cambridge. Blankets available also on cooler days!
