Brilliant food: 4 of us enjoyed really tasty main courses and desserts. Great personal service, too. The best restaurant we've found in Cambridge so far.

We had a great dinner here. I had the salmon risotto and would recommend it highly.my wife had the seabass.I tried it and would also get that on return. The service was great. The location is right on the river and you can eat outside and enjoy the view.
I booked a table for two and was seated on the lower balcony where customers go to be forgotten. Because of these we waited some time to order drinks,and when the server did attend she asked if we wanted to order drinks and food. In my experience, drinks first then food order. I order the sirloin for main and the cheesecake for dessert. The sirloin was correctly cooked rare but there was so much sinew I had to cut around, I didn't enjoy much of it. The cheesecake was run of the mill.At the end it took so long to get any attention I went up to the bar to pay. In a restaurant that charges those prices I would expect to pay at my table. The experience was below my expectation.
