The food was great, but service left a lot to be desired. Had to collect our own plates and ask for them to be removed twice before someone took interest.
A very pleasant restaurant at a very convenient place. The service is quite good, but can be a bit slow and chaotic at very busy times. Food is excellent, but recently the portions seem to have suffered a heavy reduction in size. If you plan to be full after your meal you'll seriously have to consider both starters and desserts. Unfortunately, that would probably drive the bill up to the level that is not entirely commensurate with the whole experience.Recommended if you want to dine well in Cambridge, nevertheless.
Family meal. The food was delicious and lovely presentation. Service was good. Wine was good. Missed giving us bread plates and someone would have liked the pancetta crispy that wrapped the cod. The fish stew was best meal I have had in ages - calamari perfect texture. Some exciting puddings too. Definitely go again. One warning the toilets are up some very narrow winding stairs so some might struggle.
Family birthday lunch. We had a mixture of items from the menus. All good. A relaxing meal, everyone enjoyed it. Chocolate mousse was great way to finish
Been here numerous times and food has always been good. Handy for lunch and wine if youre shopping and equally good for evening meals. No need to book a table for lunch but its best to for evening reservations.
