Great branch, wonderful customer service from Amy (very friendly and supportive) and Mark (helpful and friendly). I have been renting frequently since the beginning of the year and never had a problem. On the contrary, I always had a great experience. Highly recommended.
Booked a car online! Great got the confirmation and they took my money! Then the branch manager emailed to say I failed a check. Apparently I dont live at my home I have owned for 10years! Manager was very much computer says no... Very unhelpful. I had to book elsewhere!- New review! Tried to book again after resolving previous issue and receiving an email from Europcar confirming that I would not have an issue again! Guess what they cancelled the booking the day before collection, having made the booking weeks in advance! 3 weeks on and still no response from the "customer care" team! Absolutely discussing ! Hire a car with anybody other than this shamble. 1 star rating is to much but you cant rate at 0!
I use Europcar fairly regularly as they are usually priced competitively and have a good rewards system. Never had an issue with multiple hires from various locations in the UK. I have used the Cambridge branch several times in the last year and they are one of the most efficient I have used. Staff are friendly and helpful, puzzled by so many low reviews!
