Went here a year ago. Tried to order food at 5 pm midweek and they ran out of potatoes. 1/5 as a pub, 5/5 as a comedy act.
Came here Saturday early evening, was expecting a lot more as Ive been to a few Snugs in the area. The bar was understaffed only had two members of staff, there were glasses across the whole bar and took about 20 mins for them to make our drinks.
Was at this venue for a private function and had a wonderful time. Would go again, has a first date vibe about it. Staff were amazing, taking requests for tunes and let us stay till late. Would definitely recommend!
Everytime I visit there seems to be a brand new member of staff on their 1st shift. Last night was absolute chaos. 30 minute wait for cocktails, wrong food orders, customer ordering food only to be told 15 minutes later that the item isn't available, dirty glasses everywhere....I could go on. Note to management - FIX YOUR DISHWASHER that has been broken for forever. Your poor members of staff are having to wash glasses by hand whilst trying to run a busy bar understaffed! I hope you are paying them well!
I made a reservation to celebrate my 30th birthday here. I was disappointed as they didn't have any booking for our table and then were very unhelpful at the bar. The manager was more than rude and the snug definitely seems to have lost its charm that it had a couple of years ago no candles on the table and no specials or drinks. Definitely will not be coming back in the future.
