Flying pig is deffo contender for Best Pub in Cambridge. Cheery staff, good beer well kept and lovely atmosphere. Lunchtime food is excellent value and tasty. It has that hard to define Good Pub vibe. Endlessly under threat of development it deserves your support !

Awesome little pub, so much character & atmosphere!! Totally out of the ordinary and highly recommend. Staff were great, good selection of drinks and good location. Great pub, will definitely return here!

A really great example of a traditional English pub.A really good selection of beers. Location near the station can be convenient but might also be the reason for the high prices. They serve some food but this is not a place I would go for dinner. More lunch and bar snacks.Interior is dark and cramped, however the locals wouldn't have it any other way. Think of it more as intimate than anything else.

Inside is a small dim pub with a great atmosphere. Always has great beers on tap, a couple ciders, excellent gins and all sorts. Staff are terrific. There's a nice area out back to sit in when the weather's decent. Their food is simple and has gotten better recently. Easy five stars, really solid place.

The Flying Pig is a proper, dingy, dark, moody pub with the traditional furniture and decoration, and it absolutely brims with atmosphere as a result. It has live music sometimes, and you'll be hard pressed to make your way from one side of the pub to the other on such occasions. There are also some excellent outdoor spaces which make good use of the weather. The crowd is young and trendy, there's a pool table and the prices are quite reasonable. It's only a stone's throw from the railway station, so you'd be well-advised to make this your stop on your way out of Cambridge if you're early or as a superb welcome back once you return. Either way you'll enjoy the friendly bar staff and wide range of snacks.
