Good food and coffee, nice selection of beers and spirits. Very chilled during the day, sure it must busy in the evenings being the union bar. Nice spot to escape the busy centre without leaving.

The Union's 1815 Bar is a cool, easy, relaxed place to be, with great prices, amazing lighting and a very comfortable set of sofas. There are also tables for food and an impressive cocktail list. The service is very friendly and lively and the music is high quality and suitable. There's even an outdoor space for the hotter days in the summer. And that's saying nothing about the historic importance of the surroundings. Great secluded location behind The Round Church. Excellent facilities, too. Highly recommended, even if you're only popping in.
Possibly the most spacious bar in Cambridge! Has good drinks at reasonable prices, friendly staff, an events room that's regularly used and a massive garden. No complaints!
The bar for the Cambridge Union Society, the debating society for University of Cambridge (but bar is also open to the public when members-only events are not on). Nice cafe to work in during the day and good bar at night in a beautiful old building. Reasonable price drinks, especially for the happy hour deals they do for Union members.
