As nice as the chips with small pot of curry sauce were..i think charging 5 for that should land you in court.. never mind the 6.40 for 3/4 of a pint of beer - even though it was tasty.Nice place if you dont mind paying silly prices
It's like a super expensive beer festival any day of the week! Always busy, always a huge menu of craft beers on tap. There's also a big gin selection as well as good bar snacks and a quality restaurant attached. A Cambridge regular for me.
This is the place to meet up with friends. Good beer,great atmosphere and the staff are really helpful. Summer or winter this is one of my favourite spots in Cambridge. Gets very busy though and not so child friendly. But that's fine for adults wanting good beer ( and gin) with great food. If you've never been, come and see for your self. It's not the cheapest. But hay, you pay for what you get. The Pint Shop is good value for your money.
Pub and restaurant with cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and all round good vibe. Wide range of ales and interesting menu which I've enjoyed in the past. However, less impressed with cookery skills: my chicken was overcooked and dry, and the chargrilled broccoli was quite unpleasant with burnt charcoal overtones. Steak was well judged and vegetarian dishes were flavoursome. So would go back but feel the sparkle has been lost a bit.
A great craft beer bar! Nearly 20 different beers on keg, and a few more on cask, with lots of seating and a friendly atmosphere.We'd been around the pubs for a couple of hours, and this was easily the busiest and the best. We didn't eat, but judging from the pics on Google Maps we should do when we next visit!
