Worst letting agent in Cambridge, UK. They don't care for you once you move in. They don't repair things unless it is damaging the apartment. Water is continuously leaking from boiler. Everyday around 50 Gallon of water is leaking. Following up for last few days. It cost me 2-3 pound per day for me. In another incident , door bail was not working from the first day itself. They didn't inform me while moving in. Suffered for 2 months with loads of missing parcels.And last but not the least, few bathrooms fittings are missing from the first day itself. They should have repaired it even before giving the apartment on rent. Anyway, even after 6 months of moving in they didnt repair it.
Worst letting agency, property managers are incompetent, they're not interested in sorting out any issues or queries you may have with the property.Be careful with your rent deposits they will have any excuse to deduct your money.I would strongly recommend not to buy or rent any properties from this agency.
The worst lettings agent! Me and my wife rented with Tucker Gardner for many years and received extremely poor customer service throughout. They are very difficult to get hold of and you have to keep chasing them for answers and updates. Some of the issues we reported (on multiple occasions) during our tenancy were never addressed - for instance rubble (bricks and concrete piles) left by workers in the courtyard in front of our flat (still there after us reporting it 2 years ago!). One of the worst issues was, when we had a crack on our toilet base, meaning we had a growing smelly wet patch on our carpet. Tucker Gardener waited weeks before fixing this as they would only use one contractor, who was on holiday. Once the toilet was replaced, we had to argue for the carpet (with the smelly patch) to be replaced but their first response was that they their actions had already exceeded what was expected of them. Ergo we should have just lived with the smelly carpet as they didnt consider this essential workThey tried to overcharge us for an extra months rent when we handed in our notice, which clearly was not in line with our contract but could provide no evidence to supporting their claim. We emailed everyday for over a week to sort this out but got very few responses (not addressing our query) and we finally had to go into the branch to argue in person before it was eventually sorted. We also had many issues with the agency when moving out and raised an official complaint with them. We were told over a months ago that a senior manager from Cambridge would call us to discuss our complaint but this unsurprisingly never happened I would discourage anyone from using this agency. Awful experience!

Renting a flat was easy, despite difficulties with viewing the flat - the agent did not know her way around the complex and took us a while to find the place...but paperwork was quick2. They were quick with fixes 3. Communication was relatively easy via emailsBad bits:1. The fridge was broken when we moved in and we had to wait 2 weeks for replacement...2. we waited 37 days for our deposit to come backOverall, average experience, definitely the worst I had with agencies, but I do not think this is nothing unusual.
