From the start, Leaders (Cambridge) has been helpful in my search for a new home. Throughout the process, Leaders (especially Katie) has been very helpful and now I am satisfied, having settled into my new home and a new city.
Edit: Funny how they managed to respond to this review within 1 working day. Once they've taken your money the responses are generally more on the timescale of weeks or months. I guess it's cheaper to pretend that you give a damn about your customers than to actually do so.Leaders are some of the most superhumanly incompetent people I have ever dealt with; no task is too trivial to be messed up somehow. When applying for the tenancy, I went to their branch to get my passport scanned. Then they emailed to say that they had accidentally put the scan in the shredder. That's just one example but it's representative of the level of professionalism that they provide in general. Another time I paid my rent via their online system and - despite the fact that the form for making this payment included fields for my name and the property address - they sent me an extremely rude and aggressive email a few days later accusing me of late rent payment because they were somehow incapable of locating the payment on their system, so I had to handhold them through the process of doing so during an extended email chain. They were also completely useless and unresponsive whenever we needed anything done to the property during the tenancy.In light of the exorbitant amounts of money they charge tenants for what is ultimately just some fairly basic paper-pushing, you might reasonably expect a bit better. Instead, you get a bunch of parasitical middlemen who pocket your money up front and then treat you like dirt because, now they've extracted all that they can from you, they have no incentive to do otherwise. Of course, almost all letting agents are basically like this, but it does seem that Leaders are especially bad in this regard.
Super agents and super company! Friendly and nice, and very professional and efficient!I was looking for a place for rent in early November 2018 and we found Leaders and Katie helped me out along the way! We were told that we could move in two weeks later in mid-late November! That was super fast and efficient! Katie was quite awesome and great! She is always ahead of me and sends me reminders, and gets everything sorting out for me! I like her very much! Now my flat mate and I had a great Christmas and the new year here in the city center in Cambridge! I am quite happy! Not only just that, they even help us out when we later had questions and problems about the house, and Tella was quite helpful and responsive regarding maintenance of the house and issues, although we barely had any major issues.Thanks a lot, Leaders! I got what I paid and harvested even more!
Leaders is head and shoulders above other estate agents in Cambridge. From my first phone call, they were enthusiastic and happy to work with us. Especially Katie and Frankie, they were friendly, professional, patient, courteous, informative, positive and extremely helpful!!
Everyone I spoke to was kind and was able to help me or put me in touch with someone that could help. I was lucky to have Jamie help me with my tenancy and he was super friendly and helpful the whole time. The staff really do mean well especially since they are usually put in difficult positions between landlords and tenants. Jamie was always understanding and did whatever he could to accommodate me!
