Had a great afternoon with the kids, could do with more carparking
It could be better, of course. But still good to spend time with a kid
Stunningly beautiful all year round (its the trees what do it) and well maintained. Great play parks for all ages of kids inc disabled with paddling pools in summer, tennis courts and loads of grass space for games and picnics. Plenty of paths (some better suited to wheelchairs than others) and benches. Brook, weir and duck ponds with plenty of inhabitants to admire. Shady walks through woods and natural growth areas. Perfect for time out ... but sadly no cafe!
Great place, there's open greenery, a lake and forests. There are also signs scattered about to tell you about different wildlife you can find in the area. There's a car park which makes the park more accessible for cars. There is also the folk festival which is held here every year.
I love Cherry Hinton Hall! There's so much to do: the duck pond, sandpit, walk around the park, playground with paddling pools - and these are only the things for kids, but there are table tennis spots, large grounds for jogging and a tennis court for adults, too. It is also a perfect venue for picnicking and relaxing afternoons!
