We come once a week and like it in general. Problem is the pool, where poor planning led to a noisy environment where the sound can not escape.Biggest disappointment is the staff at the reception: an IQ far below average (basic maths, syntax) and, to top it all off, rude af.
Classes are very good, especially Yuga classes. I would give 4 stars for this. However the customer service is very poor. Im still await for a formal apology for the staff mistakes when I signed up in September. I was overcharged by 15, I was told that I had to pay the annual fee + 20, I did ask why? The staff said thats the rule. The mistake they made was that no body showed me the leafelet in which says: from 5 .... I was requested to pay in cash without any receipt since the card machine and printer were both out of work!! After a few hours, I returned to get my receipt, it showed the amount I paid was 15 less than actually I did! It seemed that I only paid 5 Extra on the receipt. If I had not returned to get my receipt, I would never known . Thai is not about the cash refunding, its a kind of cheating! I talked to the manager, she said I had to wait for that staff back from lunch, I did. He came back , ignored all and walked away. I talked to to Customer Service on phone, the result of it was that I got 15 cash back and I requested for an email apology for this mistake the staff made after the General Manager involved. It wasted me more than 2 hours standing by the counter , facing a cold face from the manager, she repeatedly said I couldnt do anything because ... , very bad service! Its not my faulty as a new customer why pinished me instead of that staff who made mistake? I agreed with one of the reviews saying: the customer service from the top to toe is NONE! I did meet the Area General Manager in perosn a few days afte the issue, he said No Sense. Of what his staff said to me when he heard about the story the staff made up at the time of her refunding me 15 cash and promised to send me an email message. Nothing happened by now.Therefore, I gave one star for the service as whole.
Cambridge Cheap and cheerful has everything you need for a workout Pity the showers are timed to stop about 15 to 17 secs and not always hot (you have to reset the shower to come back on ) even 25 or 30 secs would be adequate but there you go cheap and cheerful Idiots trail water from the showers into the changing area Staff can't seem to control this
The 2 stars is for the great gym equipment. Management is very poor as hygiene . It is a big disappointment as it was fantastic the first years of opening .
Gym has comprehensive equipment for free weights/barbell/machine movements and now has a functional workout area. However, some machines tend to be left broken for a while. Yoga class on Saturday is enjoyable. Changing rooms can be hit and miss
