Some of the doctors are really nice, (Doctor Devine particulary good) however there are a few who are cold and uncaring. I honestly don't mind supporting students but it became a regular occurance that every apt I had I was sitting in-front of 2 or 3 students and sometimes wasn't asked if it was ok until almost sat infront of them. It also meant sitting answering 20 questions to them which I'm guessing is part of their practice. One particular doctor had the respect to ring and ask first if it was ok which i thought was good practice. Not long ago, my 4 yr old had a double ear infection and when the doctor went out the room to get something, a young female student asked me in a concerned manner 'what that mark was' on my daughters face and i said, look closely its pink highlighter pen. *eye-roll* Hhhh. Lol.I think bridge street is generally a good practice but need to go back to how they used to be without all the students in every appointment. Some issues are of a personal nature and not something you want to share with an audience. Reception staff are lovely, they try their best to help but when it comes to sorting out prescriptions it's a nightmare.

Not clear about how repeat prescriptions are done. Slow, manual process with various steps that is not helpful to sick people.

The nurse Vanessa is so lovely; had my first blood test and was terrified, she was so kind and caring. Reception staff are always lovely and friendly.

Cold blooded doctors, they put patients life at risk, I wanted to slap their faces

My family have been with bridge street practice since the early 1970's, it was a lovely place back then but unfortunately now seems to have fallen into the hands of a group of VERY uncaring and unhelpful individuals!! The receptionist is nothing short of rude and unhelpful!! My father died from a form of cancer whilst a patient at this surgery and their disinterest and lack of communication begs belief! His Dr. at the surgery was neglectful, rude and and extremely uncaring! On one occasion, she visited my father at home due to him having breathing difficulties and informed us there wasn't really a problem, only for him to be admitted to Addenbrookes the following day and being diagnosed with Pneumonia!!!! Disgusting behavior from so called medical professionals!!! I have been on the phone to the surgery today and the receptionist had an appalling attitute , and was nothing short of rude! What a horrible place!!
