Honest and reliable, they have bent over backwards to help me out in the past. Trust them over a main dealer anytime - case in point, a main dealer *who shall remain annonyman* recently tried to bullsh*t me out of 430 worth of new brake pads on my 1 year old van... Claiming they were all down to the metal and if I didn't do it that week that it would screw up the discs too and that would be 1000... Next day I took it into CRG and 20 minutes later they called saying "why do you want the pads changing, they are virtually new!" I went back to get the van and they wouldn't even take a payment for their inspection! Good guys, thanks for the good work FYI, the reason they cost slightly more is because you only have to take it there once.
Quick and good service
Went into CRG with a loud noise coming from my Q7 was fearing the worst that it could be time to replace my turbo potentially costing thousands. Amazingly the mechanic at this garage had identified that this noice was due to a perrished gasket which cost me pounds to repair. You can understand my delight only having to pay a few pounds as opposed to thousands. I commend this garages honesty and technical skills and ability to identify and fix this issue. Other garages I went into where quick to suggest it required a turbo putting thousands in there pocket from mine! These guys are true credit to there industry.
I've been using these guys for 10 years. In this time I've moved from Cambridge, to Bedford and to Nottinghamshire and I still bring my car here for every service, MOT and repair. Even my Mum comes here from Lancashire! They always go the extra mile to help and I trust them 100%. Would highly recommend.
Charged 110 to change a cooling hose that costed them 27 and takes 10 minutes to replace. They simply took advantage of the fact that I was forced to leave my car, out of cooling liquid, at their premises on my way to work. Always ask for a quotation, or expect to be overcharged by these people. It's easy to provide, as I saw in previous comments, slightly pumped up quotations and then take less money to impress the customers, but when given the chance to take advantage of someone, they went for it without a second thought. I will never use their services again!
