Went for an MOT. My wing mirror was chipped during the replacement of a non-functioning mirror indicator that had been identified. I went along with the manager's explanation that this is a common issue due to a tricky job and would be 50 to fix. Now feeling pretty stupid. I think I should have got a free replacement as the problem was caused by the garage's mistake not mine.
Took our car for an MOT the bill was over 400 including the work, afterwards there was a horrible noise on the front right wheel. when we took the wheel off the brake pad was down to the metal. This should have been picked up on the mot. They also changed the windscreen washer pump and it still does not work. I use to recommend them to everyone. not anymore. Car taken to a different garage and lesson learnt.
I have trusted these guys for years with my cars. I have never been fleeced for unnneeded work or had a repair bounce. They have also accepted my polo after a tow from the RAC.
I have used this garage several times and have always been treated with courtesy and efficiency. When I recently asked when my car needed servicing, I was told I could leave it until the autumn. I was impressed that I was under no pressure to book it in earlier. Some time ago my daughter was visiting me and had problems starting her car. They booked her in at very short notice, sorted the problem very quickly and charged her an exceptionally reasonable amount. I am very happy to recommend them.
Updating my review on 24 Jan 2018 as last time I wrote my review was 3 years ago.Again, nothing but exceptional service from Nigel and the team. Screen wash blocked (despite my electric car being in warranty) BMW wouldn't repair in warranty.Nigel and team got it sorted in 20 Min!These people are all about the customer. Whilst I was in there I overheard Ben, one of the other guys, giving a customer all the options and recommending the most value for money and lasting option. Other garages would only give the most expensive option.Now that's what I call Customer service. :-)Love these guys!Superb garage, very trusted in the local village of Milton. My car broke down on M11 and by some miracle I was able to bring it to their garage. Within an hour they called me with a diagnostic and the repair was just over 100 ready within 3h! Ben and Nigel at the garage are lovely. Very friendly and honest! Would recommend!
