Very popular and busy. Had to wait about 15 mins for a seat. Had tea and pastries....but as an engineer, the most delightful experience was the metal teapots that poured WITHOUT any dribbles down the spout. We got a second pot which was a china one which did dribble Pastry varieties are excellent as they make the traditional ones plus variations on a theme. e.g chocolate eclairs and coffee eclairs, so if you fancy something a little different then this is the place to go.For those with dietary restrictions they do their best to cater. Gluten free chocolate flapjacks and other creations but with the warning that the preparation area is exposed the usual range of allergens.
The manager there and the staff are friendly and so so so great and very welcoming ..syrian manager is extramly nice also cakes are great too
Good food and drinks.I confess I go to PV because I get a free hot drink every day courtesy of Barclays rewards. However the tea or coffee is nicely served at your table and always tastes excellent. This time I had a salad - the tri colour. It too was excellent. Their macaroons are my normal drink accompliment and are delicious. I wish the staff were a little bit more friendly though. They are not rude or unhelpful but just not welcoming either. Or maybe they know now I'm not a big spender!
Lovely food, very busy place. My friend and I did have to keep getting the attention of the waitresses, but that was due to how busy they were. The waitresses work very hard and always have a smile on their faces.
Very nice all day breakfast and pot of tea. Took a while to walk past the cakes as all so tempting, but I was strong! :(
