Wonderful place. Great cakes marvellous service. Long established although current ownership is relatively new I understand. Chelsea buns utterly delicious.
The Chelsea buns are to die for, but unfortunately Fitzbillies is a victim of its own success. Its very hard to find a time of day when it is isnt crammed with people. The best option seems to be to get a Chelsea bun as a take away and find somewhere nice outside to eat it.
Had a really good breakfast on a busy Sunday. Visited with my girlfriend, I had the full fitzbillies and she had the American style pancakes, both were delicious. Staff are really friendly and the food is scrumptious. Highly recommended! We took home a box of 4 Chelsea buns, they were amazing also. The buns didnt last till the next morning as theyd all been eaten.
I went here not to eat but just to buy the Chelsea Buns. It was recommended by my friend and I never regret it. I like the Chelsea buns, it's soft yet solid and the sweetness is not too much. To put it simply, it's Chelsea buns is so delicate. Furthermore, I only have to pay like 2 only. I recommend this place to you guys and don't forget to buy the Chelsea buns :))
The staff were very friendly and eager to render service. The food was great, especially the Chelsea bun! Though the prices are a tad steeper than expected, it's still worth a visit for afternoon tea with a tasty Chelsea bun! :)
