My Spaniel was referred to Dick White Referrals via my vet because of severe back pain. She had an MRI and was found to have an infected disc. I honestly have nothing but praise for the way she and myself were treated. They could not have helped or done more than they did. They are always on the end of the phone if you need to ask them anything. They will also call you to make sure all is well which it was. Really, really excellent!
They are a specialist referral centre and it shows! The consultants are extremely knowledgeable in what they do and have every possible piece of equipment to help them do it. I can't praise them highly enough.All the staff there are very efficient, sensitive and caring. They obviously love what they do and are very good at it.The centre is set way back from the road and is very easy to miss, though.I went in January 2019 and at that time there was a large white sign just off the road, but it can be hard to spot - I was coming down on the opposite side of the road (from the A14 west of Cambridge) and almost drove straight past it. Fortunately, the roads there are not very busy outside of rush hours.A well deserved 5 stars.
This is the second dog I have taken to Dick White Referrals on both cases I could not praise them enough very attentive showing their high regard for the animals. The person who were in responsible for them phoned twice a day sometimes three, nothing seemed any trouble all the staff were very helpful and informative and very professional and pleasant. I would have absolutely no qualms in recommending them and using the team without any hesitation.
I can't thank the staff and vets here enough. We had to take our dog in for emergency tests and they took great care of him. They were good at giving us updates and helped us with our insurance claim. Made a very stressful situation manageable. They were just as good with our follow up appointment.
My dachshund has had 2 spinal operations here and the staff were brilliant. From the reception ladies through to the actual vets, surgeons etc. As soon as I got there I felt Patrick was safe. Would definitely recommend.
