Please be aware, if you have an inner tube replacement and it fails in order to get a refund you will have to return to the store with the bike still with the flat tyre so they can investigate, which is reasonable until you factor in the distance you may have to travel with a broken bike making a return on their failing either a waste of money or time.In response to the reply; I understand and that is my issue. Its the customer that loses out here. Had I simply walked home and used the equivalent cheap innertube I'd bought online and that then failed after less than half an hour of cycling, I would have had my money refunded (After a 5min process) without the need to even return the inner tube. But as this was all done in store its up to me to front the time and cost to get there which isn't covered by the refund. The true annoyance is that I couldn't even cycle as you needed the flat tyre on the bike to investigate.
Glorified bike shop. It has hardly any of it's niche sports stuff in stock due to all the cycling dedication, which I'm pretty sure can be covered by the vast amount of cycling shops around the city already.
Looked on the app for some cable cutters said they where in stock. Travelled from saffron Walden into Cambridge to collect in store only to find they had none. Waste of time staff told me to go to Halfords.
I would like to thank James for helping me with my Cycle Scheme. He has been fantastic from the start to the end. I love my new Riverside 920 !!! I would recommend James and Decathlon Cambridge to anyone who is looking for a new bike!
Decathlon doesn't disappoint. It's a great store with ridiculous value for money. You can get very affordable to very specialised products, and they make the details and features clear for you to make an informed decision. Customer service is also great, if you have a problem with a product they will replace it for you (as long as you keep the receipt) they seem to really care about customer satisfaction. To be honest I sometimes wish they carried more things so I could buy those from them. I really like how their products seem to be very thoughtfully designed.
