One reason to buy from a brick and mortar store is to benefit from good after sales service, such as the promise of resizing for life. It's the only reason to pay the grossly inflated prices of the store. I received my engagement ring from them. The ring was sold as a G colour. It has been in inspected by no less than 3 experts (diamond dealers and appraisers, not jewellers) as an H. After initially resizing the ring far too small on their insistence (taking away a lot of platinum), every time (3 times) I wanted it resized bigger, they would simply stretch the ring out, thinning it. None of these things were enough to prompt a bad review. I was not impressed with a situation regarding poor communication from them recently, hence this review. There were non apologies worded 'I am sorry you feel that way', and flat out lies about how repairs and platinum work is done. An uninformed customer may believe their explanation. They have a laser welder (very localised heat) for platinum repairs in the shop, but were so stingy that they decided to claim that resizing with solder would heat up the whole ring, and potentially compromise the ring. Despite me emailing them with specifics informing them of previous external work prior, and receiving a positive response. My partner paid 40% over market value and thought he was getting good customer service. What we got was condescension. And lies. Their saving grace, hence 2 stars, is that the diamond IS phenomenally cut with great angles and superior light return. I fully expect a condescending refutation to this review. It saddens me that small independent jewellery stores are dying out. But this kind of experience is why.

Kept my vintage engagement ring for 2 weeks. No communication from the store. When visited the store I was told that they would not repair the ring as they did not have small enough stone. I was advised best not to repair it. Went to another jewellers who repaired it without issues. The store is only interested in sales rater than no money making repairs.

Very helpful and repair was reasonably priced.

Jewellery is not just a thing; it's a whole experience and Cellini's do it the best imho. Lovely pair of earrings for my wife's birthday.

My wife & I celebrated our 30th Wedding anniversary and Sarah's engagement ring had worn very badly....I must admit I thought beyond repair. Cellini (Roger) has done a jaw dropping repair and the ring is as good as when I first bought it. We would both recommend Cellini to anyone....thank you Michael and Sarah
