A perfect little campsite in an apple orchard. Good shower and composting toilets, fire pits, plus a communal kitchen.
This is a really nice fun place to go with the little ones, and for the adults.
Loved it.We didn't have a reservation but we were offered a spot. It is lovely.Everything that you need is here for a great chilled weekend.You can hire yurts or wigwams or just pitch.The number era are always low so never over crowded, also the pitches and digs are located in an apple orchard.There is fresh apple juice on site, bbq equipment, composting toilet and a well stocked kitchen.Great for a weekend or a base to explore the area.
Fantastic camp site embedded in an orchard. Loads of space between pitches, nice eco friendly amenities and good size kitchen hut. Great for kids to run around in a safe area with lots to explore
This campsite is lovely and I loved that it was Eco friendly. We stayed on a Thursday and Friday night and on the first night it was fantastic. The pitches are in an orchard and each one is in its own little clearing. There is a brilliant washroom featuring a hot shower, sink and Eco toilet as well as two separate Eco toilets. There is also a hut with a large table, wood fire, kettle, sink and cutlery etc. We bought some meat that was reared on the farm which was delicious and we were allowed to have a campfire. However, on the second night as it was a Friday there were quite a few more people staying and I feel the facilities were a bit stretched and also the proximity of the pitches meant that it was quite noisy. Because of this I would definitely stay there again but not at the weekend. It's really easy to get into Cambridge for a day and we did see the owner fly his plane from the landing strip that's right next to the orchard which was pretty cool! All in all I really liked this site, perhaps if there were a couple more toilets and showers it would be perfect!
