Good campsite outskirts of Cambridge. A good 3 mile walk into the centre.

We visited in late October. The site is down a narrow lane from the main road. Usual C&CC reception, though the computers were all down when we arrived. No issue, the manual backup procedure worked. The site is a large flat green field, and we were shown to our grass, powerless pitch which we had requested.Showers and loos were spotless, and warm. The shower water was hot and flowed hot immediately. Dish washing area in a covered outside area, water very hot, excellent. I do though think the automated press button taps waste more water than they save. There must be some compromise where you can use a tap to control the water but have some automated override which turns off the water where somehow the tap has been left to run.The site is near to the bus stop, with a 6-minute walk to the Citi-7 bus stop. Busses during the day run every 20 minutes into Cambridge. Though the bus timetables seemed inaccurate. You are best to download and use the Stagecoach mobile phone app. Coming back the bus in the evening ran every hour from Emmanuel Street, so we made sure to time our evening meal carefully. The last bus running at 23.25, The journey time was around 30 minutes.

Brilliant site very tidy and clean. Bus stop into town not far from entrance very convenient. Staff all friendly very relaxing and quiet.

Nice campsite but big open field without much shading areas. Clean and good up to date showerblock which can be a bit of a walk if you choose it. Remember what a stone is (weight) when taking a (free) shower, Yes, this is England ;-)

A great campsite just outside of Cambridge. The staff are really nice and friendly. The facilities are spotless as are the pitches.Well worth a visit to take in Cambridge and the surrounding towns
