Great dinner last night. Steak and eggs was wonderful. Busy as you would expect on a Saturday but service as perfect. Not rushed and not ignored,, just right. Thanks guys
Love the new look after the renovation. Light, bright and comfortable. Always a warm welcome. The new set meal is very good. A good selection of drinks. Overall, I thoroughly recommend anyone giving it a try.
Good food and pleasant staff. Duck pie was very tasty and perfect rib steak . However, the apple crumble was bellow par.,Too flaky and didn't have the texture. I enjoyed the calamari and olives,. Sticky toffee date pudding was scrumptious.

New decor, new menu. I have loved Bills for so long. It's been updated and I went with a group and it was so disappointing. Our table was right at the back, where we had to squeeze past many other tables which were too tightly packed. We usually have a wheelchair user with us and it was a good job we didn't on this occasion, I don't think we'd have got the chair through without a huge amount of negotiation. It seems part of the refit is about squashing as many tables as possible in and it looks more like the Ivy than Bills. It's lost all it's old charm which is a real shame. The food was okay to be fair. However, the vegetarian breakfast which was fabulous has been replaced with a much less desirable plate of food. The staff were a mixed bunch. Most of the waitresses were really lovely, but the one who dealt with the bill was rude and I had to stop half way up the stairs so that two staff chatting to each other didn't walk into me - and they didn't even notice. It's a shame, because it has great potential. I don't know if we went on a bad day, but we weren't impressed at all.
