Good food at reasonable prices. Service was slightly slow but probably good that they are cooking from scratch. Had the udon noodles with pork and wife cake.
The attention during dinner was great the staff is very friendly. It is possible to book a table in advance specially if you want to enjoy live music while you're there although there is an extra charge for the music. The food is great, decent portions and varied dishes. They only serve one type of beer.
Love the food, always excellent service and a lot of vegan options. I keep going back for the taste. They have a really good selection of teas as well. This is one of the top places to bring your vegetarian/vegan friends in Cambridge. Also has a wide variety of instruments and furniture for sale around the restaurant. This is a place to relax as the small kitchen means that they do not have the fastest service.
We found this restaurant by accident and ended up having a lovely dinner there. The staff was very friendly and were able to explain about how various menu items were cooked. The menu has a lot of different food options to choose from, including interesting choices of teas (even milk bubble tea!). As a vegan, I was impressed how many vegan options there were to choose from! So many! Plus vegan/vegetarian/etc options are clearly marked on the menu, so its easy to spot them. I chose japanese tofu curry which was delicious. The meals were brought to the table in sharing plates which was lovely as we could easily try each others food. The portions were decent as were the prices. To top that up, they play live music on Fridays and Saturdays which we got to experience. We are very happy about our dining experience and cant wait to come back.
I like the dim sum here, comes in the traditional bamboo steamers and they steam them fresh on order. They serve dim sum here all day too! Very healthy and makes for a great light snack, starter or can have a variety like tapas for a meal. Sometimes they have live music performances during dinner and special events. I enjoyed their special Studio Ghibli music night, the dress up and decor was fun and so different! Didn't expect it at all but can see that they made a lot of effort it was a lovely evening. I enjoy the pork belly dish when I am hungrier, large portion and steamed overnight so can't really make that at home. They have a large variety of vegan options too so it's great if you have friends with different diet plans. They cook better than my mum (even though she keeps saying she can make all the dishes they serve; when she won't because the prep time for many of the dishes here are unbelievable so why bother when we can just eat it on Mill Road?)
