Informative and fun. Displays are quite wordy and demonstrations are quite lengthy, so would recommend for 6 upwards. Also worth checking if they have a party planned because it otherwise gets very busy very quickly!
Smaller than expected but a lovely little place to go with the kids. My children were 4 and 19 months. There was lots to keep the interest of my 4 year including some lovely talks by the staff. My 19month however was difficult to keep entertained after about 30mins had had enough. Vending machines are there for food and drinks but they were fine with you bringing a picnic. It's close to the train station . Only a 10min walk which made it a nice trip out with a train journey to.
Call to check if open before going. Been walking for 40 min to it on Sunday 30th of December 2018 , however found it closed at 15.30. Not sure it it was festive period closure but google and own website did not suggested any closure. Be careful ladies and gents !!!
Fun outing for the kids. Spent about 1.5hours there but by then had explored everything. Presentation was good whilst we were there. Definitely worth a visit.
Kids had a great time engaging with science. I personally didn't think it was great value for money given the size. I was expecting something significantly larger. Bit of a walk from the city centre. Nevertheless I'd recommend it.
