went today to get canes,large selection reasonably priced. The place was empty and ime not sure how long they will be able to carry on. They are a bit pricey on a lot of items and you must shop around dont just go and buy.
Customer service extremely disappointing.Two months ago, I was looking to buy on Homebase's website an article that I had bought in December already, since I did need the exact same article. I saw it was unavailable in Cambridge but in stock in a Homebase that is approx. 8 miles away. Hence I called Cambridge store and asked them if they could get it from the other store so that I could pick it up in Cambridge, and I got told that they would not do that and that I couldn't get the item unless I would go there. Since I don't have any car, that seemed pretty tricky, so I thought that I would wait until they get some in stock again.I called Homebase customer service today since I could see on their website that there were only 4 of these items left at Homebase Biggleswade. I was told that it was at the discretion of the manager to decide wether or not they would get it for me.So, I called Homebase Cambridge again, and again they told me they wouldn't get the article or they could get it but I would have to pay delivery fees of 20 since Homebase Biggleswade is more than 20 miles away (knowing that the article is worth 7,95).Why did this solution not get proposed to me when there was some stock of this item in a shop less than 10 miles away then, knowing that I told them I wouldn't be against paying delivery fees?! Extremely disappointing.
