See, I think M&S is even better than Waitrose. Flavoursome, exciting, colourful and so international. I love their food. Clothes? Too old lady for me. Food? Yes!
Got warm socks, sourdough bread and fancy pastries in one short visit. Always get what I want and good quality.
Great little store. Not a large selection as opposed to the larger outlets but still good.
Not upto usual standards bought some shoes, self selected, seemed no staff about obviously dust on many of the shoes. Call me old fashioned if you like but many other stores used to envy M&S for their customer care and attention to detail. Is this the reason their sales figures are falling....
Just wanted to give some feedback today on the help I received. It was one of the most pleasant shopping experiences that I have had in many a year. It started when I wanted to find the men's changing rooms to try on a pair of Chinos and a shirt. A lady pointed me in their direction and said she new where they were as she use to work at the store but was now retired. I thought how nice and helpful she was. I then went to try on some chinos and a few shirts. The chap managing the changing room was so helpful he also chatted to my wife and the other customers. I must apologies for leaving a few shirts and trousers in the dressing room but he mentioned it was no problem. I wish all customer service staff were like this gentleman. I was a little stressed buying some clothes before I fly to the US on Monday but this chap was fantastic. I want to say thanyou to him.
