Got two reminders in a few days, received a call less than two hours before the appointment for my son was scheduled, the dentist chair was broken they said. Typical stupid excuse to cover an overbooking. Don't waste your time as I did and go for another dentist instead!
Shambolic! Is the only to describe this dentist! I had my first appointment confirmation emailed to me and I got a text, but after checking in at reception and waiting for over 40 minutes without being seen, I was told oh sorry we forgot to mark you as being here and we cant see you today now! Rude receptionist and very unprofessional service! Avoid this place at all costs! I would rather go to the little shop of horrors dentist than here again!
This is a busy dentist that takes NHS patients. They do work fast, but that is efficient and as it should be. I'm disturbed to see a review that suggests 'British dentists' don't work like that - absolutely they do. For example the (British) endontist I see privately in Cambridge was a military dentist and he also works quickly and keeps to time.
So... Went for an urgent appointment about inflamed gums. Sent me away with no prescription and told me to take ibupurofen if it hurts. Phoned up 111 later that day as the pain got to much and they told me i should have been prescribed something. Later that night the pain got to much amd had to go to a and e. Who prescribed me some antibiotics. Im changing my dentist after last night as that was just more then rediculous.
The lab for mydentist messed up THREE times when doing two of my crowns. The first time it was the wrong size and then the wrong colour. The second time it was the wrong colour, despite the dentist having written in huge letters the required colour. In all my years of using dentists, I have never experienced such incompetence.
