Bought a pack of Greenfields ground cardamom (50g) here for 4.40 and thought that was pricey, but was in a hurry so bought it anyways. I then found the same brand and size at Spice Gate for 1.99. Other Greenfields spices I bought at Al Amin were about 2 but somehow cardamom is 2x over.
A fantastic store with great people who offer great products. Often come here for Mountain Dew - (The original ones, not the nasty British ones). Always happy to see the people there and always happy to see the Owner-Manager, Mr. Arain, great guy. This store is great for things which cannot be found elsewhere within the local vicinity.
Amazing choice of foods and spices. If you need anything unusual for cooking, here is the place to find it. Helpful staff with knowledge about ingredients and will carry your heavy shopping out to the carpark over the road. Very tasty samosas too.
sneakily overcharged. billed for 3 items I didnt buy. when this happened the first time, I ignored it. but when it happened again, Im writing a review. be alert and ask for a receipt.
best local free range eggs, go there especially to get these. Lamb is really good too and really good price and love the atmosphere and once you go there regularly the owner will have a chat with you. will recommend!
