Wow.. if you are interested in aviation coupled with historical events then this is a great place to visit. The size of the IWM in itself is impressive, located just off the motorway makes it easy to find with plenty of free parking available upon arrival. The exhibits are spread throughout 8 hangers ranging from military aircraft's and hardware to aviation marvels. To be able to walk amongst them really allows you to appreciate the size of these marvels. A tour of the Lancaster bomber is available for an additional charge which must be booked in advance.

Wow, what a great place, lots of aircraft to see, both static on the ground and in the air. It's well laid out with a great number of easy to read and interesting information boards. Lots of Spitfires flying around made our day really special.
